Mr. Gilbert has devoted his career to winning high risk and complex litigation. After graduating with a Bachelor's of Science degree form Colorado State University he went on to receive his law degree from the New York University School of Law. He now has over thirty years of experience litigating complex cases against some of the words largest corporations.

Mr. Gilbert's peers have honored him by their recognition of his trial advocacy. Mr. Gilbert is one of only two Colorado lawyers ever invited to join the elite Inner Circle of Advocates, a national group limited to 100 trial lawyers. In addition, Mr. Gilbert has received the Citation of Excellence award from the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. He is also profiled in The Best Lawyers in America. Mr. Gilbert has also been extended the prestigious invitation to join the International Society of Barristers; an organization he has now been a part for more than 15 years.

Jim Gilbert has become a highly sought-after lecturer, having given more than 130 speeches and lectures around the country. He has also served as a consultant to television stations and has appeared on national television for his work as a trial attorney.

Highly skilled and comfortable in the courtroom, Mr. Gilbert has received a number of favorable jury verdicts. His work involving defective aftermarket windshield installations, including a $6,100,000 jury verdict against an aftermarket installer, was chronicled in a cover story in Lawyers Weekly entitled "Personal Injury Cases That Made A Difference." Jim Gilbert was also lead counsel at trial for jury verdicts that included $35,000,000 awarded in a conversion van case and $17,500,000 awarded in a seatbelt case.

Jim Gilbert and his wife Mary Ann live in the foothills near Golden, Colorado. Jim and Mary Ann enjoy spending time with their two children and their families. Mr. Gilbert leads an active lifestyle participating in many sporting activities.
